Old Gold Road Trip

It was kind of Old Gold to acknowledge on their site that the fact we "are moving down to D3 in the Fall doesn't make them any less harder". Less harder? So, is that the same amount harder than before? Assuming then that we are harder [than them], then clearly they aren't considering us any less so, right? Whatever it is they're trying to say, it's about hardness and their not taking it lightly. They also rightly point out that, " these guys [us] would just love to take us [them] out in a show of defiance to NERFU". So consider yourself on notice NERFU; is that the type of sloppy English that you put up with in D2?

For those of you looking to do more to Old Gold this weekend than correct their diction, I suggest you get yourself to the Park 'n' Ride at 9:30am on Saturday morning, to travel down to Boston in the lap of luxury. A bus has been hired for your conveyance, allowing you to spread out, sing a few songs, and drink even more than you usually do. There's plenty of room, so we welcome Old Boys, young(ish) boys, spectators and anyone else who thinks they can survive the ride back. Bring $20 to cover the costs, and then kick back for a good time.

It couldn't be less harder, right?

- before anyone from Old Gold e-mails me, I was being ironical. (so was that).
