Whoa! The website is back up!
I don't know what happened there, but things seem to back to normal now.
So, you may not have heard but your Portland heroes have managed to claw their way back from a rocky 1-2 start to a more respectable 3-2 record. They're currently on a 2-0 win streak and hoping to add that tomorrow when Providence makes the trip up here.
I could add that Portland currently lies joint second in the division, but that is hardly an objective measure, given that a couple of the nearby teams have a game in hand, and a couple of others seem to be missing scores. Hopefully that will all begin to shake itself out in the next couple of weeks, NERFU website malfunctions notwithstanding.
Keep in mind that Portland gets their bye week next weekend, so this will be your last opportunity to get your rugby fix for some time. So, after all the rain tonight, come out to Fox Street at 1pm to welcome back the sunshine and enjoy Portland's own brand of sparkling rugby.
