As you probably know, I'm partial to sticking the boots in to the French whenever the opportunity presents itself, and Lewis Moody does a great job here. But, as I read on, I can't help but find something strangely familiar in his description of this frenchy's game. But, I just can't put my finger on it. Oh well, I think I'll get some lunch...frog's legs and stinky cheese. Vive la difference!

Indoor practice continues this Thursday on account of everyone's aversion to fresh air. Joker's @ 9:30 pm, be there.
For those of you not privy to J-Wil's e-mail, he had some good words to say about all the yap. I'll ask John Lennon to paraphrase for me; "everybody's talking, but no one says a word". Let your actions (or lack of) do the talking for you, 'cos Instant Karma's gonna get you.
For those of you looking to piss away another day at work, here is the "somewhat related to the subject at hand" link du jour. Have at it.

Back, by popular demand, directions to the beach. Really, I enjoy posting this every week, I do.
No call up for the match against Wales this weekend...again. Clive, why won't you call? My schedule is wide open. I'll wash the kit afterwards.

Numbers like you read about at last night's practice. Fantastic.
Practice this Saturday, on the beach at 3:30pm. As Jean-Paul Sartre said, "three o'clock is always too late or too early for anything you want to do", so go to practice. No, really, he did say that....except in French, of course.
So, what's up with that ho Belle De Jour getting her own book deal? I've been at this blog lark for five minutes, and I'm getting no love from Simon & Schuster, no love from Penguin, no love from McGraw-Hill. Did I ever tell you my Doubleday story?

Good news...given the demographics of the players attending last Saturday's practice we have been able to secure new sponsorship from Novartis and their breakthrough Alzheimer's drug Exelon. If you, or someone you love, is suffering, don't suffer alone. We can easily arrange for a ride to practice.
Well, apparently some of you young shavers had a bit too much going on this weekend. I know that Saturday mornings can be hectic, what with all those cartoons on and all. To be fair, it was a bit blowy and you might have caught a nasty chill. That can so easily turn in to an ear infection with you babies.
Anyway, we've arranged another cozy indoor practice for you this Thursday at 9:30pm at Joker's. (Directions below) Please wrap up warm, and make sure you've got your homework done first.
Oh, by the way, you girls were aware that rugby is an outdoor sport, right?

Stop press...new fixture added....April 3rd, away vs. Boston RFC B side....this will be the sideshow to their A side Superleague game against PAC. Sort of like feeding Christians to the lions before the Gladiators come on for the main event. You decide whether you plan to be a Christian or a lion by showing up to practice.
And before anyone says anything, yes, you can be a Christian and a lion at the same time. It was a metaphor. I'm not trying to start a jihad.
